Frequently asked questions
What photo works best?
Use a clear, well-lit selfie where your face is visible. Avoid heavy filters, sunglasses, extreme angles, or photos where your face is partly covered.
Why does the app ask for camera or photo access?
Glow Gem needs camera or photo library access only when you choose to take or select a selfie. You can change these permissions in iOS Settings.
What does one Glowup include?
One full Glowup includes one style analysis and three generated looks for the same selfie.
How do Glow Pro subscriptions work?
Glow Pro Monthly and Glow Pro Yearly are auto-renewable App Store subscriptions. Each active subscription includes four full Glowups every month.
How do I restore purchases?
Open Glow Gem, go to the paywall or settings, and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed into the same Apple ID that made the purchase.
How do I cancel a subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Open iOS Settings, tap your Apple ID, choose Subscriptions, select Glow Gem, and cancel there.
My generated look failed or is missing. What should I do?
Check your connection, reopen the app, and try again with a clear selfie. If a purchase seems stuck, use Restore Purchases before buying again.
How do I delete my account data?
Use Delete Account in the app settings. This requests deletion of remote app data where possible. Deleting the app removes local data but does not cancel an App Store subscription.
What iOS version is required?
Glow Gem requires iOS 17.4 or later and is designed for iPhone.
